Hello World!

Hello World!

Hi everyone!

The name is Sandy. I am your Spring resident blogger and Rochester Brainery Intern. This is my initiation post to the Brainery family.

Born and raised in Rochester. I have yet to explore Rochester in all its glory. The reason for this is growing up in an overprotective family. Only until I enter RIT for my undergraduate degree did I start get my feet wet in Rochester's everlasting winter. I've since then established myself as an independent individual. It took meeting new people  and switching my major a couple of time. My initial major was International Studies, then Illustration, and now Hospitality. I am in my final stretch of undergraduate guys! I am so close to the real world. May 21st is my last deadline as a student.

When I am not at the Rochester Brainery and I am at school. I am trying to divide my free time with my grandparents, my family, and my friends. I also am the president of a hip hop dance club on campus. Please don't let the title "president" fool you! I am not the best choreographer in the group. However, I am pretty darn good at doing the paper work. I am just so impressed with my team. I look forward to see what they will accomplish in the future. I am quite sad to part with them when the semester end. Where will I get my weekly fix of bonding with my ladies through dance?

My immediate future is still up for discussion. I know what I want to do, it is just the where do I place my goals on my timeline. I do not plan on to end my education with a bachelor's degree. Also, I would like to escape Rochester's cold winters and head towards California. Those are just a couple of goals I would like to achieve in my lifetime. I'll just have to see where life takes me and steer it to the direction I want to go.

Lastly, I pursued Rochester Brainery because I truly believe that this company will fulfill some of the goals I set for myself in life. It has a great opportunity to meet new people and learn many skills!

I look forward to providing some awesome reading material for you guys!
